Le Trio Joubran

The brothers Adnan, Samir and Wissam Joubran have the oud and music in their genes. Their father is considered one of the most important luthiers in the Arab world, their mother is a well-known singer of Muwashshah poetry. They themselves are pioneers on their age-old string instrument. While the oud traditionally plays an accompanying role, they put the instrument in the spotlight threefold. With music that sounds as mysterious as it is exhilarating. Their Palestinian roots constantly branch off into the repetitiveness of minimalism, or the raw passion of the Andalucian flamenco. Above all, this makes Le Trio Joubran a unique musical experience.
