Life partners Annelies Van Gramberen and Sim Van Thienen recently formed the K L A N G Collective, a brand new ensemble which pulls down the walls between musical genres. She as a classically trained soprano, he as frontman of the pop group Head Full of Flames. With acoustic instruments, a loop station and live electronics, they bring together two of their favourite composers: the 16th century lutist-composer John Dowland and the 20th century singer-songwriter Nick Drake. Between the dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural Sciences, the duo create a dream-like, timeless space where classical and folk-pop fuse together. An intimate final concert for the genuine diehards!
