The Citizens’ Garden is a green oasis in the heart of the European Quarter. Walden Festival turns this serene space into a unique concert location, in which young talents from the Klara series De Twintigers (The Twenty-Somethings) take over the music pavilion.
Mandolin player Ward Dhoore (1993) grew up in a family where music was constantly played. Aged fifteen, he formed the folk band Trio Dhoore with his two brothers and toured the world. Today, with brother Hartwin on accordion, he performs with his band Siger. Together they bring us atmospheric compositions that breathe new life into home-grown folk music.
