Samuel Ber Reservoir Dox Trio
de twintigers
about
The Citizens’ Garden is a green oasis in the heart of the European Quarter. Walden Festival transforms this serene spot into a unique concert location, when young talents from the Klara series ‘De Twintigers’ (‘The Twenty-Somethings’) occupy the music pavilion.
In a very short time, drummer Samuel Ber (1995) has grown into one of the most promising jazz musicians of his generation. After his studies in Antwerp and Paris, he left for New York to study composition. At Walden Festival, he shares the stage with two equally talented musicians: saxophonist Sylvain Debaisieux and double-bassist Soet Kempeneer. This brand new jazz trio mixes self-penned compositions with uninhibited improvisation.
