about
The Citizens’ Garden is an oasis of green in the heart of the European Quarter. Walden Festival transforms this serene space into a unique concert location, when young talent from the Klara series ‘The Twenty-Somethings’ takes over the music pavilion.
The young Belgian countertenor Korneel Van Neste fell in love with early music. His soothing voice has since been employed by celebrated ensembles such as Vox Luminis and Capella Pratensis. At Walden Festival, he shares the stage with soprano Pauline De Lannoy and lutist Justin Glaie. Expect an intimate concert of English and Italian Renaissance and Baroque song.
